Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Frisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Disappointing experience with Safelite Frisco We initially scheduled Safelite to replace our windshield of our BMW iX. The technician arrived with the replacement glass, but it had a minor scratch on it. To his credit, he advised us not to use the damaged glass and told us someone would contact us within 24 hours to reschedule. Unfortunately, nobody contacted us for two days, so I had to call to find out what was happening. They eventually rescheduled us for the same day, but then nobody showed up and we received no call or update. I had to call again, and getting through to an actual customer service representative was a frustrating process because of the automated/AI system. I was eventually told that the local Safelite shop would contact me by the next business day. I called on Friday, and despite the local shop being open Saturday, I still received no call. I then had to wait until Monday and call again, repeatedly pushing for someone from the local shop to actually contact me. At that point, the earliest appointment they could offer was the following Thursday. What should have been a straightforward windshield replacement had turned into nearly a two-week ordeal, with us h

I broke the window put of my liftgate. I arrived on time for my replacement and they refused to do the work because there was a tiny indentation in the frame where the window sits. Literally, 99.6% of the frame was unscathed and a very minor indentation. In the middle of an 18 inch section of frame. Admittedly, I know nothing about windows or their repair, however, it seemed logical to put something like putty or silicone in the indentation to bridge the β€œgap”. I can’t stress enough how small the indentation was. I tried taking a picture of it and it wouldn’t show up in the picture and it was barely discernible to the naked eye. They refused to do the work and refused to sell me the glass so I could get it installed elsewhere. I made one phone call to a non-affiliated auto glass repair place and they immediately agreed to fix it without any hassle. So, Safelite has lost my business for a lifetime. Because they wouldn’t think outside the box. The price for repair was very acceptable. But going to a body shop to get that indentation fixed would’ve added thousands$ (unnecessarily) to the cost.

Augustine and staff were professional and attentive. Explained all issues and the scope of work that would be involved. Completes the task exactly how he described and having access to wifi to work tandemly while they were fixing my issue was of great value. 10/10 Would use them again and recommend this staff to my family, friends, and coworkers.

Went Saturday the 23rd to get a small rock chip in the glass repaired and sat down in the waiting room after getting it checked in. after the service was done and they pulled the car out the repair tech walked me out to see the car - while casually telling me he was looking for me to get my permission to make the chip bigger!? I suppose this was to make more room for the resin or something. apparently wasn't able to find me so went ahead and did it anyway. (this is not my first road chip on the glass) the chip was filled with a cloudy resin (NOT CLEAR) and the crack around the chip had grown (as he told me he had to enlarge it - after the fact) there is also a distortion ring around it now that makes it even more distracting. When I ran my hand over the fix, I could feel it wasn't smooth. He added more resin and uv lit it to harden, then tried to smoothen it further with a blade. honestly really disappointed. but I had to go to work and just didn't have the patience to go back and deal with yet as of yet. Just a fair warning. AVOID THIS PLACE if you have a chip! They somehow made is so much worse as now I have to stare at a grey brown patch with crackle and lens distortion around i

Take photos before work is done. Safelite technician will not accept blame. I purchased this vehicle new Mar 2022 and vehicle has less than 25k miles. The kids putting the new windshield in tried to tell me the windshield had been replaced before because they seen primer. It hasn't!. They claim there was a tear in the headladliner in the top right passenger side, broken clip on the inside camera cover and broken clip on the trim on passenger side. Which they didnt mention and I called and had them come back out. They glued it. Connor said he would talk to his manager. When they got back from the calibration drive, he noticed a piece on the ground he forgot to reinstall.
